If you are looking for a good Bible study, but don’t have time for another night out, I have just the thing for you. The Women of the Word group will be doing Kelly Minter’s study, The Fitting Room Putting on the Character of Christ starting April 18th. I have been privileged to participate in two of Kelly’s studies, No Other Gods and Ruth. Her studies are inspiring and challenging but not overwhelming to do. You can do the daily homework in about 20 minutes. There’s an introduction to each week, which we will read on the weekends followed by 5 studies – one for each weekday excluding Saturday and Sunday.
Here’s how it works. You’ll need to order your book which you can do by clicking here. The cost is about $15. Read the introduction before April 18th. On the 18th read and do the lesson for day 1. Then log onto the Women of the Word blog by clicking here. There will be a post for each day. You can read the posts and leave comments sharing your thoughts and read the comments of others.
Here are some GREAT advantages to doing a study this way:
- You don’t have to add another night out to your already busy calendar.
- You can do the study and sharing in your p.j.s!
- You have the opportunity to share with women across the U.S.
- You can do the study when it works best for you because you can read and post comments to the study blog any time of day.
This group of ladies is currently doing Lysa TerKeurst’s study, Made to Crave. Feel free to pop in on that study to see how the format is set up. We are new so our group is small, but we hope to grow and include more ladies. Will you consider joining us?
