We just finished watching Romona and Beezus, and I must say it was worth the rental fee. In fact, I’d like to purchase this one. The girls and I laughed and cried. There was not one word of profanity, no violence, and the parents were not made out to look like know-nothing bumbling bafoons. The family portrayed was one that loved and supported one another while still being realistic about sibling squabbles. I think middle children could relate well to the main character. Ramona is a child caught in the middle. I highly recommend this great family entertainment, especially for elementary aged girls.
